Etihad Airways Expands Codeshare with Air Serbia, Increases Middle East and India Flights
Etihad Airways enters a codeshare agreement with Air Serbia and boosts its flight frequencies to destinations across the Middle East and India
Etihad Airways is enhancing its spring and summer travel options through a codeshare partnership with Air Serbia and heightened flight frequencies to Riyadh and Bengaluru.
Etihad Airways and Air Serbia have established a strategic bilateral codeshare agreement to improve connectivity for passengers of both airlines across various destinations.
This partnership provides Etihad’s customers with convenient access to 12 European destinations via Air Serbia’s hub in Belgrade, including nine destinations that are newly added to Etihad’s extended network.
The codeshare agreement enables Etihad passengers to easily connect with Air Serbia’s European network.
Etihad improves reach to European destinations
Jurriaan Stelder, Vice President of Alliances and Industry Affairs at Etihad, commented, “This collaboration extends our codeshare network and offers our travelers easy access to 12 leisure and business destinations served by Air Serbia, including Belgrade, Bucharest, Budapest, Thessaloniki, Tirana, Skopje, and Sofia.”
Etihad Guest serves as the loyalty program for both carriers, enabling members to earn or redeem Etihad Guest miles across the networks of Etihad Airways and Air Serbia, while also enjoying tier status benefits.
The recently launched codeshare became effective on January 30, with flights beginning on February 3, 2024.
