Namaste India: Indonesia is calling all Indian explorers
Invitation for all Indian travelers to experience a 'Miniature Indonesia' through the Wonderful Indonesia Pavilion at SATTE 2023

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia is collaborating with the Embassy of Indonesia in New Delhi, India to welcome 2023 through the Wonderful Indonesia Pavilion at South Asia’s Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2023, taking place on February 9-11 at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR.
The pavilion, located at Hall 11 Booth C16, will showcase 43 carefully selected delegates from various tourism businesses, including destination management companies, travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers, and tourism attractions. The pavilion, which serves as a miniature representation of Indonesia, will feature the authentic scent of citronella oil, the taste of premium Kintamani coffee, and the ethnic rhythms of Balinese instruments.

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, in partnership with the Embassy of Indonesia in New Delhi, will be showcasing the “Wonderful Indonesia” Pavilion at the South Asia Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2023 from February 9th to 11th at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. The pavilion, located at Hall 11, Booth C16, will feature 43 delegates from various tourism-related businesses, such as tour operators, hoteliers, travel agents, and tourism attractions, showcasing the essence of Indonesia.
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, SATTE has taken the theme “30 Years of Glorious Legacy.” This year’s event will mark the start of Wonderful Indonesia’s international marketing campaign, with a Sales Mission in Kolkata on February 7th to connect Indonesian businesses with Indian buyers and provide updates on the latest tourism policies.
India is one of the top five inbound markets visiting Indonesia, with the country’s economic growth driving a desire to travel abroad. In 2022, the growth of inbound tourists from India to Indonesia reached 3,870% compared to the previous year. To cater to the growing luxury market, Wonderful Indonesia is offering handpicked destinations, including Yogyakarta, Bali, Sumba, and Labuan Bajo.
Indonesia continues to maintain its international presence by hosting global events, such as the Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) 2023 in March, the Formula 1 Powerboat World Championship (F1H20) in February, and the Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival in June, among others.
